Fire and rescue aerials are among the most consequential machines in public safety. Their performance, safety, and operator trust have direct human consequences.
Southern Co. exists to revisit the whole system: structure, stabilization, hydraulic behavior, controls, human operation, validation, manufacturing path, and lifecycle serviceability. Not as a marketing exercise. As engineering work.
The incumbent designs were good answers to the questions of a different decade. The questions have changed: tighter streets, denser cities, harsher incidents, higher expectations for setup, safety, reach, and operator confidence under pressure.
We are building a small, technically serious team. People close to decisions. People who can hold standards literacy, field reality, and first-principles thinking in the same head at the same time.
